Our councillors do not have set responsibilities but volunteer as matters arising occur. If representation is required on external local public bodies, councillors volunteer depending on availability.

Ged is a former Project Manager in the gypsum industry and has lived in Normanton since 1986. When he retired he joined the Parish Council, of which he is now Chairman.

Ged says it has been a pleasure to serve the residents of this beautiful village.

David was born and brought up in Kinoulton. He has lived in Stanton, Tollerton and Normanton.

He retired in 2010; joining the parish council in 2011. He has enjoyed organising village events and the environmental & ecological wellbeing of our locality.

Fiona has lived in the village since 2001 and been a member of the Parish Council for 10 years. As a former Rushcliffe Borough Councillor she maintains a keen interest in local government.

She is a volunteer with a local Riding for the Disabled group.

Miles has lived in Normanton for about five years, but has been a Nottingham resident all his life.

He has been in the estate agency, surveying and property profession for around 30 years.

Steve has lived in the village since 2015 having lived previously in West Bridgford and Radcliffe on Trent
He has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years.

Mike is the Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. He is also clerk to a number of other local Parish Councils including Plumtree, Bunny, Stanton & Willoughby on the Wolds.

Mike holds an AQA Certificate in Local Council Administration.
